about

Note: Due to a tech error, the wav quality that is featured for this album is badly diminished. However, if u purchase the album and download as an mp3, this is fixed. Also, the album will eventually have a physical, which will fix this. Sorry 4 this error.
The 6th album by "The Devil in the Flesh" Demon. This is a concept album, meaning it is at its best when listened to from track 1 - 20, in that order. It also has a story that is told through numerous movie clips, dialogue and through the songs themselves. This album has very graphic lyrics on tracks 3,7, 9, 10, that reference rape, and murder upon other things. These are intentionally meant to be horrific, in order to show the heinousness of these crimes and their culprit (a human possessed by a demon) and are designed to reflect upon the album's story. Think about the movie A Clockwork Orange and how the first act is strictly filled with showing the main character performing horrible acts, so that by the time you get to later in the movie, you are almost glad the character is in pain. This correlates to this album and how you shouId loathe the demon after hearing multiple tracks of his cruelness and how you should then root for the main character to fight it. If you get offended by these topics, you should probably avoid these tracks. Demon has never committed these acts and DOES NOT CONDONE these acts. Later in the album, you will stop hearing these types of tracks and start hearing personal tracks, which are meant to reflect the character dealing with things from his past, like alcholism and bad relationships. However, you will still hear random satan mentions, and dark pitched vocals, which are intended to show the listener that the monster is still there. Please don't judge this album on it's sound quality. Judge this album like you would judge x-raideds xorcist. Demon is an underground artist who records using the tools an underground/indie rapper has. He is not signed to a label, nor has access to a studio. The beats may not be the best, however a true fan of 90's underground hip hop will not think they are bad, and should listen for how well Demon fits the beats he has, and should listen for his delivery and lyrics. That is what hip-hop was judged on until big corporations began pushing hip hop to non hip hop fans. Hope you enjoy the album and hopefully you support.
